യൂത്ത് കോണ്ഗ്രസ് സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷനായി ഒജെ ജനീഷിനെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. വിവാദങ്ങളെ തുടര്ന്ന് രാഹുല് മാങ്കൂട്ടത്തില് രാജിവെച്ച് 51 ദിവസത്തിനുശേഷമാണ് ഒജെ ജനീഷിനെ യൂത്ത് കോണ്ഗ്രസ് സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷനായി ദേശീയ നേതൃത്വം നിയമിച്ചത്. ബിനു ചുള്ളിയിലിനെ യൂത്ത് കോണ്ഗ്രസ് വര്ക്കിങ് പ്രസിഡന്റായും നിയമിച്ചു. യൂത്ത് കോണ്ഗ്രസിന്റെ ചരിത്രത്തിലാദ്യമായാണ് വര്ക്കിങ് പ്രസിഡന്റിനെ നിയമിക്കുന്നത്. അബിന് വര്ക്കി, കെഎം അഭിജിത്ത് എന്നിവരെ യൂത്ത് കോണ്ഗ്രസ് ദേശീയ സെക്രട്ടറിമാരായും തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. ദേശീയ സെക്രട്ടറി, വര്ക്കിങ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് സ്ഥാനങ്ങള്ക്കൊപ്പം നിയമസഭാ സീറ്റു കൂടിയാണ് അധ്യക്ഷ പദം ലഭിക്കാത്തവര്ക്ക് അനൗദ്യോഗികമായി ലഭിച്ച ഉറപ്പെന്നും റിപ്പോര്ട്ടുകളുണ്ട്
